Contributing to Preserving the Qur’an with Waqf Donation

In the holy month of Ramadan, many of us focus on pursuing rewards, one of which is by reading the Al-Quran after every prayer, but ironically Indonesia, which is a country with the largest Muslim majority, still has difficulty in distributing proper Al-Quran, especially in remote areas. Whereas the Al-Quran is an important handbook for the guidance of a Muslim’s life.

If we travel to remote areas of Indonesia there are still a lot of Al-Quran whose condition is not feasible, the cover is missing, the paper is torn, the color is yellowing and some pages are even missing. One of the factors is the economic limitations faced by residents in remote areas of Indonesia so that they often have to prioritize their basic needs first and are forced to hold back to buy a new Al-Quran.

So that our little Tahfizd must take turns using it or even one Al-Quran is used together. By buying them Al-Quran we have helped to produce Al-Quran memorization candidates and help them pursue the reward in the month of Ramadan.

And imagine the happiness they feel from reading the holy verses of the new Al-Quran. Hopefully from the new Al-Quran that we present can flow a lot of multiplied rewards from every letter they recite and memorize.

“When the son of Adam dies, his deeds are cut off except for three things; sadaqah jariyah, useful knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him” (HR. Muslim).
